FREE ELS Best Practice Farm Walks

Join other local farmers and specialists to discuss practical ways to best manage your Entry Level agreement. See a range of established ELS land in operation on a farm near you. Explore ways of dealing with problems that you have been scratching your head about.

The walks will include:
· Tips on how best to maintain your ELS points threshold
· Guidance on how best to locate land options that can deliver cost and environmental benefits to your farming system
· Meeting and hearing experiences of other farmers who have (O)ELS or UELS agreement
· An explanation of how derogation forms can be used to help overcome problem issues
· A clearer understanding of how management of your (O)ELS or UELS agreement can benefit wildlife, resource protection and the historic environment across the farm and help to meet the aims and objectives of the Campaign for the Farmed Environment
